Abstract

We present an interactive session on how cultivating a culture of design thinking in a university setting is preparing the students and campus for the future. Participants of this session will engage in an overview of design thinking and how this systematic approach to innovation and creative problem solving can be used in all aspects of education. This inclusive training is for all stakeholders who want to learn about the design thinking process and work in a collaborative environment to address real issues within learning communities. Participants of this session will earn Northern Michigan University’s Intro To Design Thinking Badge free of charge.
