Abstract
The potential of the physical environment to affect behaviors and satisfy customers is a significant mark for service businesses such as the hospitality industry. Design is an extremely important aspect and the main component in the hospitality industry. The client’s attention is captured by the interior design and look, which convinces them to stay and take advantage of the accommodation or cuisine that the restaurant provides. Following the purchase of products or services and in comparison, to the customer’s expectations, the term “customer feedback” is used to describe the evaluation. In order to please its consumers, whether a hotel or a restaurant, the hospitality industry relies entirely upon the details, innovation, and customization that make up interior design. This study investigates why a well-designed environment is important to the hospitality industry and also what should we do as interior architects to make a better design for the hotel’s lobby through literature reviews and reliable documents to achieve this aim. A well-designed lobby for a hotel is one of the most important aspects of keeping your customers happy and its interior design holds a significant value because it is the entry point of the hotel experience. As a result, attention to detail, high-quality furnishings, and aesthetics are very important and guide the customer to experiment with the perfect hotel to stay in and finally satisfy them.
