Abstract

A couple of months ago, the world was hit by Midjourney—a new AI powered art-making tool, generating any image from a text prompt. While its big brother DALL-E creates more realistic images, Midjourney shines in adapting real art styles into creating an image of any combination of things your heart desires. But is it ready to surpass the real human artist in creating web graphics? We’ll experiment and give the identical task to our regular illustrator and Midjourney AI. Who wins—in terms of time, budget, and quality—is a surprise.
